Plexuss International College Application app for iOS-based mobile devices promises to take some of the financial burden out of the process of getting accepted into a great school of higher learning. SIMPLIFYING THE COLLEGE APPLICATION PROCESS
The app works like this. From their mobile device, U.S. and international students search Plexuss’ database of institutions of higher learning to find schools of interest, Novin explained. Through the app’s search feature, detailed information on each college, including history, campus pictures, videos, virtual tours, reputation rank, news, and admissions data are available.
Next, students complete one single application. “They can apply for free to schools that have partnered with Plexuss,” Novin added. “The app looks at the student’s profile. Students then receive a list of schools that our highly advanced algorithms have determined are most likely to admit them. This simplifies things tremendously for students.”
“Our Plexuss International College Application app also sends the student’s transcript, proof of financial ability, English proficiency exam results, images of his or her passport, and any other supporting documents,” Novin offered.
Novin enthused that using the app eliminates the processing fees students customarily pay.
“If you send your enrollment application separately to 10 universities, it will cost you $500 or more,” he estimated. “If you send the same applications to those same 10 institutions through the Plexuss International College Application app, it will cost you nothing - this will also save you time as you only have to fill out a single application.”
PLEXUSS APP PACKS MANY FEATURES
The Plexuss International College Application app is feature-rich. Novin listed the most important of them:
Chat. Users can communicate directly with college admission officers or, if none is available, with a Plexuss chatbot that will step in to answer questions.
Quad. The app’s users have access to a library of accepted and rejected student admissions essays to demonstrate writing that works and writing that doesn’t. Also viewable are student-relevant articles having topics ranging from college admissions advice to paying for college.
Manage Colleges. This feature of the Plexuss International College Application app allows users to check the status of their applications, school by school. It also lets them receive notifications each time a college shows interest. As well, Manage Colleges permits users to accept handshake requests from those college recruiters who’ve been impressed enough to reach out.
