MiraCosta College (MiraCosta), located in north San Diego County, California, chose Ellucian Grants Services to align its grants strategy with institutional goals and initiatives, as well as to provide writing services, compliance management and grant administration support. Ellucian and MiraCosta will work to build a grants culture that evolves over the next five years.
“Diversifying our revenue streams with grants helps us continue to focus on priorities like student success and guided pathways and to better serve our special populations, such as former foster youth and veterans,” said MiraCosta Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement Cynthia Rice Carroll. “These initiatives not only provide educational opportunities to a diverse population, but also strengthen the economic, cultural, social, and educational well-being of the communities served.”
Ellucian Grants Services will work closely with MiraCosta to facilitate the identification of funding priorities and grant opportunities addressing institutional needs, as well as creating a structure that supports the grants process from writing proposals to ongoing compliance monitoring and reporting.
