Temple University, through its Office of Non-Credit and Continuing Education (ONCE), is partnering with Ziplines Education, a national career accelerator focused on upskilling professionals at all stages of their careers. Together, the institutions are introducing a new portfolio of online certificate programs designed to provide Philadelphians and professionals across the region with timely, industry-aligned skills relevant to today’s technology-driven workforce.

Reflecting Temple’s mission to serve its community through accessible, high-impact education, the new programs deliver practical training in Product Management, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Salesforce Administration, AI Prompting, and Advanced AI Workflows. Designed with flexibility and relevance in mind, these programs help learners build job-ready skills through hands-on assignments, expert-led instruction, and industry-recognized certifications.

“Philadelphia’s workforce is facing a skills shift—and we need to meet that moment,” said Kim Celano, Director, Non-Credit and Continuing Education. “These programs are built for our city’s professionals: they’re flexible, fast-paced, and directly aligned with the digital skills employers are hiring for today.”

​​Recent labor market data underscores the need for expanded professional development opportunities. In the past six months, job postings in the Philadelphia region requiring generative AI and ChatGPT skills have increased by 46%. Similarly, demand for professionals in business analysis is up 25%, and product management continues to grow. In response, Temple and Ziplines are collaborating to offer accessible, job-aligned learning pathways that support lifelong learning and career resilience.

Together, the two organizations are reimagining what continuing education can be: flexible, career-relevant, and deeply aligned with industry needs. Learners will benefit from monthly cohort launches, hands-on assignments, expert-led instruction, and personalized support designed to turn potential into real career momentum.

Ziplines Education partners with leading universities to develop flexible, cohort-based online certificate courses that blend live instruction, interactive learning, and real-world application.
