Primacy, a digital experience and performance marketing agency, today announced that its work on the Cornell Human Ecology website has been named a 2026 Webby Awards People’s Voice Winner in the School/University category.
With more than 13,000 entries submitted from over 70 countries and more than 4.6 million votes cast by over 940,000 people, the Webby Awards represent one of the largest global recognitions of digital excellence. The People’s Voice Award is determined by public vote, reflecting broad audience resonance alongside industry recognition.
The Cornell Human Ecology website was designed to reflect the college’s interdisciplinary structure, spanning programs from human development to design, policy, and health. The experience organizes this breadth into a cohesive system that helps prospective students and other audiences navigate complex academic pathways while maintaining a clear sense of identity and purpose.
“This recognition reflects the strength of the partnership behind the work,” said Robin Rogers, Assistant Dean of Communications at Cornell Human Ecology. “Large-scale institutional projects often come with significant internal complexity, but throughout this process, the feedback from our stakeholders has been overwhelmingly positive. That level of alignment is rare on a project of this scale, and that success is a direct outcome of the human-centered approach valued by both Primacy and CHE.”
“Prospective students don’t experience institutions in silos,” said Stan Valencis, CEO of Digital United, Primacy’s parent company. “They explore across programs, disciplines, and digital touchpoints. This project was designed to make that complexity something students can actually move through.”
“Cornell Human Ecology is a uniquely interdisciplinary college, and that complexity needed to be reflected without overwhelming the user,” said Kieran McCabe, SVP of Creative at Primacy. “We focused on creating a flexible system that could unify diverse programs under a single experience while still allowing each area to express its own identity.”
