October 2, 2026 – Enflux announced the launch of Enflux Curriculum Intelligence, a faculty-governed solution that helps health professions programs build, map, review, and maintain their curriculum in one place.
Curriculum Intelligence brings plans of study, course information, syllabi, student learning outcomes, curriculum mappings, and supporting documents into a single source of truth for the entire curriculum. It combines Enflux’s AI Audit with an independent subject matter expert (SME) review, giving programs both scalable analysis and discipline-specific human expertise while keeping final curriculum decisions in faculty hands.
Many programs still manage curriculum mapping through spreadsheets and disconnected documents. These records can become outdated as soon as a course, outcome, accreditation standard, or competency framework changes. Faculty may also struggle to identify gaps and overlap across courses or understand how a proposed change could affect program outcomes, curriculum coverage, and accreditation alignment.
Curriculum Intelligence replaces periodic mapping exercises with a living curriculum model that can be reviewed and updated as the curriculum evolves. The AI Audit reviews course student learning outcomes for clarity, measurability, assessability, and rigor. It compares outcomes across the curriculum to identify potential overlap, redundancy, and gaps and proposes connections to competencies, accreditation standards, and institutional priorities. Faculty review the AI Audit recommendations and retain authority over all curriculum decisions. An independent, discipline-specific SME then validates the work before courses proceed to the curriculum committee, giving programs expert support without adding to their internal staffing burden.
“Curriculum is always evolving, but the systems used to document it often remain static,” said Alejandra Zertuche, CEO of Enflux. “Curriculum Intelligence combines an AI Audit with independent, discipline-specific SME review to identify gaps and evaluate changes, while faculty expertise guides the process and faculty approval remains essential to every curriculum decision.”
With Curriculum Intelligence, programs can:
- Maintain one connected record of courses, outcomes, syllabi, plans of study, and curriculum mappings.
- Audit student learning outcomes for clarity, measurability, assessability, and rigor.
- Compare outcomes across courses to identify gaps, overlap, and unnecessary repetition.
- Map outcomes to accreditation standards, competencies, and institutional priorities.
- Add an independent, discipline-specific SME review to the curriculum evaluation process.
- Route proposed changes through faculty and curriculum committee review.
- Export current evidence for program assessment, accreditation, and continuous quality improvement.
Curriculum Intelligence does not require student performance data or an LMS integration to get started. Programs can begin with the curriculum materials they already have, making the solution useful for both developing programs and established programs transitioning to updated standards.
The initial release supports Nursing programs using frameworks such as the AACN Essentials and Doctor of Physical Therapy programs aligned with the 2024 CAPTE Standards. Support for additional health professions disciplines is planned.
