There's nothing to say that college campuses have to disappear completely, but at the same time, it would be wise for schools to look hard at what they can bring to the table that online learning cannot provide. Close, collaborative contact is certainly one of those things, as well as the opportunity for casual meetings — something that's more difficult in an online class.
