- The adjuncts, who teach 30% of Saint Rose classes, voted 175-61 in the mail-in balloting.
- Now, adjuncts at the college are allowed to earn a maximum of $6,400 per semester for eight credit hours of courses, or $12,800 per year, the Times Union reports.

Because of the pay limitations, most of the 309 adjuncts at the college also teach at other schools to make a living. SEIU represents 21,000 adjunct faculty and the American Federation of Teachers represents 70,000 adjuncts. The College of Saint Rose issued a statement that it hopes to work collaboratively with the union, though no date has been scheduled yet for contract talks.
