• The plan was to find schools that would grant MOOC credit on a trial basis to students who planned to pursue traditional degrees.
• Some schools agreed to participate, but no students applied for credit.

The experiment is ongoing. The director of the project says a lack of publicity hampered it. He said he expects to have results of the experiment in April 2015.
