How to use Parature for Facebook to field student questions

  • In 2011, Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, N.J., launched Parature for Facebook, a fully integrated customer engagement knowledgebase that lets prospective TESC students learn more about the school by posting questions on the page’s Facebook wall, and interacting with current students and faculty on the school’s Facebook page.
  • Iris Lewin, an academic adviser and manager of the Parature integration at TESC, wrote a list of the top four Facebook FAQ tips for Campus Technology.
  • Tips include indicating that users’ questions have been answered and allowing negative comments to remain on-page.
