No. 2 in the four-year public school category is Pennsylvania State University’s main campus, at $22,560, with 37 percent of students receiving grants or scholarships. The national average for the category is $11,582. For private not-for-profit four-year schools’ net cost, No. 1 on the list is the Hult International Business School in Massachusetts at $46,746, followed by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, at $44,838. For private for-profit schools, the top two four-year schools as ranked by net cost are the American University of Health Sciences in California and the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine-New York, at $66,743 and $49,154, respectively.
