Florida A&M's suspension of the school's marching band has now ended, the Associated Press reports.
Florida A&M President James Ammons suspended the university's Marching 100 last year as the result of a hazing scandal surrounding the death of former member Robert Champion. Champion's family sued the school over his death, and Ammons later resigned. Amid the fallout, Bryan F. Smith joined Florida A&M in January as an anti-hazing administrator.
Expect to see the school face scrutiny within the state and across the country as looks like to kick-start a new era for the band.
