Dive Insight:
Besides helping to increase diversity on campus, international recruiting makes good business sense for a public university because international students generate much more tuition revenue than state residents. According to the AP, the university plans to open more than a half dozen offices all together. Indiana University’s vice president, David Zaret, says the offices will operate like home bases where the school can hold events, but they won’t be branch campuses.
