Texas State’s fall semester enrollment has grown every year for 17 years. Even though Angelo State University — along with its 6,000 to 7,000 students — was moved to the Texas Tech University System from the Texas State University System in 2007, the state university system’s enrollment has increased 28.6% since 2005. Minorities make up 46% of the system's student population.
