Dive Insight:
CampusTap helps students keep track of their academic interests and activities outside of school, using that information to suggest career opportunities and internships. It was developed by Remy Carpinito, a Suffolk University graduate, in 2013. CampusTap will use the seed funding for development and adding engineers to help its mobile launch. The social network was launched with a test group of 500 students at Suffolk, then went out to customers at MIT and the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk.
